Plant Description

Medium-sized evergreen to semi-deciduous tree, typically reaches heights of 15-22 m.

The tree has woody, upright stems. As it matures, a single main trunk develops, with branches growing along its length in an ascending or slightly spreading pattern, forming a broad, rounded crown.

Leaves are broadly oblong to lanceolate, with long acuminate apices, entire margins, a glaucous-green abaxial surface, and are minutely pilose when young.

Flowers are greenish white, about 4 mm, in dense branched hairy terminal cluster.

Fruit is two-winged samaras.
