Plant Description

It is epiphyte or terrestrial known for beautiful foliage long lasting color and vivid berry-like fruit.

Stem is shortened or absent.

Leaves are smooth, green, up to 50 cm long (occasionally up to 1 m), 3-5 cm wide. Arranged in a vase-like rosette.

Flowers are with reddish-purple bracts and purple petals and red sepals. Flat-topped inflorescence (flowering cluster). * Flowers resemble pink matchsticks with bright blue tips

Fruit is berry-like, round, pink.
