Plant Description

Perennial herb.

Arranged in whorls of 3 or 4, mostly confined to the top of the stem. The leaves are linear-lanceolate, hairless, and almost stalkless, with indistinct lateral nerves.

iny, white, 5-merous flowers with a diameter of about 1.2 cm. They are arranged in terminal, few-flowered umbels with slender peduncles shorter than the leaves.

Capsules containing numerous seeds.
