Plant Description

It is an annual herb that typically grows to a height of 70-152 cm. It has a single erect stem that is often branched.

Stem is usually 0.5-1 cm in diameter and is green or reddish-green in color. It is often angular and strongly veined.

Leaves are opposite and compound. They are typically 15-20 cm long and 10-15 cm wide. Divided into several leaflets, which are ovate, lanceolate, or oblanceolate in shape. The leaflets are typically 2-5 cm long and 1-2 cm wide.

Flowers are small, yellow, and daisy-like. They are borne in clusters on the ends of the stems. The flowers are typically 1-2 cm in diameter and have 5-10 petals.

Fruit is small, dry, and brown. They are typically 0.5-1 cm long and 0.2-0.3 cm wide. The fruits are often called seeds.
