Plant Description

It is short-lived annual herb reaching a height of 15-30 cm.

Stem is slender, densely packed, with multiple branches. These branches can be upright or lie flat on the ground (prostrate). They are covered in short, stiff hairs.

Leaves are elliptical or narrowly elliptical in shape, measuring 1-2.5 cm long. The upper surface has sparse, short, stiff hairs. The base is broad and wedge-shaped, and the tip is blunt with a small point.

Fruit is small, gray nut (nutlets) with an oval-kidney shape. They have a longitudinally elliptical opening (aperture).
