Usages

Medicine- The bark is carminative, digestive and tonic. It is used to stimulate the digestion and also in the treatment of skin complaints. The juice of the bark, combined with the bark juice of Cordia dichotoma and Psidium guajava, is used to treat indigestion. The powdered bark, combined with a pinch of tumeric (Curcuma longa) is used to relieve fevers.
