Plant Description

It is vigorous deciduous climbing vine. Reaches 600-800 cm in height and width.

Stem is woody with aerial roots for attaching to surfaces.

Leaves are opposite, pinnately compound with 7-9 toothed leaflets. They are 10-20 cm long.

Flowers are large, trumpet-shaped in clusters. They are orange-red with yellow throats.

Fruit is long, bean-like seed capsule containing flat, winged seeds.
