Plant Description

Perennial climber

Stem ribbed, glabrate to pubescent

Leaves clusted around nodes, pinnate, bipinnate. Leaflets 5 to 9, ovate or narrowly ovate.

Yellowish flower, 3 to 7 in number borne in axillary inflorescence, pubescent. Peduncle about 10 cm, pubescent to canescent wwith 0.5cm long bracts.

Likely produces achenes (dry, single-seeded fruits) like other Clematis species, but information on their specific characteristics is unavailable.
