Plant Description

It is erect herb grows 30-200 cm tall with a single main stem or branching from the base.

Stem is round, green, hairless with few branches.

Leaves are pinnately compound with 3-7 leaflets, 2-8 cm long. Oval or oblong leaflets have toothed margins and are hairless or have sparse hairs underneath.

Flowers are showy, pink or white with 4 petals (each 1-2 cm long) with a clawed base. They are arranged in clusters at the top of stems and branches.

Fruit is green capsule turning brown at maturity, up to 10 cm long, containing many small, black seeds.
