Plant Description

Perennial herb

Erect, spreading branched and rooting at nodes.

Elliptic with serrated edges, arranged oppositely.

Showy yellow, tubular with a two-lipped structure.

This is a dry, dehiscent fruit that splits open to release seeds when mature.
