Plant Description

It is tender perennial herb forms a low-growing clump with a rosette of leaves.

Stem is erect, single stem rising from the leaf rosette, 30-45 cm tall. Hairless or slightly hairy.

Leaves are coarse, lobed or deeply divided leaves arranged in a basal rosette, green and grow 20-25 cm long.

Flowers are large, daisy-like flower heads with a central disc and colorful ray florets. Colors: Yellow, orange, white, cream, pink, red, crimson, and violet (depending on variety), 6-10 cm diameter. Ray florets: Single or double rows, resembling petals. Blooms held high on the flower stalk.

Fruit is dry, single-seeded.
