Plant Description

It is annual bedding plant erect.

Stem is branched, stiff, 30-60 cm tall.

Leaves are opposite, oblong leaves, 10-15 cm long, woolly-white when young, becoming sparsely hairy.

Flowers are globular in shape, but actually consist of numerous individual flowers. The most common color is magenta, but there are also white and pale mauve varieties.

Fruit is small, dry containing seeds. Seeds brown, shiny, reniform.
