Plant Description

Perennial herb.

Erect, round, and unbranched.

Sword-shaped, greyish-green with a smooth surface. Arranged in a fan-like clump at the base of the stem.

Large, fragrant, with three upright falls (outer petals) and three drooping standards (inner petals). Colors range from pale lavender-blue to violet, sometimes with white or yellow markings.

Elongated capsules containing brown seeds.
