Ornamental - It is often grown as an ornamental where, at least in the tropics, it can be used as a ground cover. Medicine - The leaves of creeping wood sorrels were chewed for nausea, mouth sores, and sore throats and also used as poultices for sores and ulcers. A tea brewed from the leaves were used for fevers, scurvy, and urinary infections
