It is erect annual or short-lived perennial herb. Fast-growing and bushy.
Stem is single erect, becoming woody with age, can reach up to 200 cm tall.
Leaves are pale green, alternate, deeply lobed or divided. Covered in soft, fine hairs.
Flowers are small, white with five distinct corners. Clustered at stem tips.
Each flower produces 4-5 black wedge-shaped seeds that are with thin white scales.
Flowering: April-August.
