Plant Description

It is perennial succulent forming low-growing mats or mounds typically reaching 10-20 cm tall and spreading up to 30-50 cm wide.

Stem is woody, upright with a branching, irregular pattern, often reddish-brown and may become more prominent as the plant matures.

Leaves are fleshy, oblong to spoon-shaped, 1-3 cm long, 0.5-1 cm wide, arranged alternately along the stems. Typically blue-green or gray-green color, sometimes with reddish edges, and have a smooth, waxy surface.

Flowers are small, star-shaped, up to 1 cm wide in clusters at the tips of the stems. Typically yellow, although some varieties may be white or pink.

Fruit is small, dry follicle containing tiny seeds. Not a prominent feature of the plant.
