Plant Description

Biennial herb usually with a white powdery coating.

Numerous, borne on stalks 2-15 cm long, hairy and succulent. Leaf blades are ovate to elliptic or oblong-elliptic, ranging from 3-10 cm in length and 2-8 cm in width. The undersides can be white powdery, while the upper surface is sparsely hairy or nearly hairless. Leaf margins are toothed and lobed, with 6-8 pairs of denticulate lobules.

Borne in clusters (umbels) of 1-6 flowers, with superimposed whorls. Individual flowers can be rose or lavender colored.

Spherical capsules about 3 mm in diameter.
