Plant Description

It is trailing succulent with long cascading stems ideal for hanging baskets. Forms a loose mounding shape when potted.

Stem is fleshy, rope-like that become pendulous (drooping) over time, can reach lengths of 100 cm or more. Color can vary from green to brown as the plant matures.

Leaves are spindle-shaped, fleshy, up to 5 cm long, 1 cm wide, arranged in a close spiral around the stem. Leaves have a distinctive silver-blue cast to them.

Flowers are found rarely, but when it does, it produces clusters of pink to deep red, star-shaped flowers at the tips of the stems.

Fruit is small, dry follicle containing tiny seeds. Not a prominent feature.
