Five reflexed petals with faint brown markings inside. Flowers start yellow and deepen with age, becoming fragrant at night (coconut scent). Blooms intermittently year-round.

Rarely seen in cultivation, but fruit is conical and leathery, about 4-5 cm long and wide.

Large, glossy, evergreen leaves. Elliptic in shape, reaching 15 cm long. Leathery texture with prominent lighter veins.
