Plant Description

It is large and impressive fern reaching 150-200 cm tall. Forms a spreading clump with long upright fronds creating a lush and majestic presence.

Stem is short and stout, often hidden beneath the base of the fronds. Creeping in some varieties, allowing the fern to spread gradually. Provides significant support for the long, upright fronds.

Leaves are large and simply pinnate, creating an elegant and elongated structure.Pinnately compound, meaning the main rachis has leaflets (pinnae) arranged directly on either side. Fronds can reach a massive size, reaching up to 150 cm long and 15-20 cm wide. Light to medium green in color with a papery texture.

Flowers are small and inconspicuous, clustered along the underside of mature pinnae near the midrib.
