Plant Description

It is a herbaceous perennial plant.

Stems are creeping, slender, and often rooting at the nodes.

Leaves are trifoliate (three leaflets), with each leaflet obovate or broadly elliptical in shape. They are typically 1-3 cm long, with a smooth margin and a characteristic white mark in the center.

Flowers are small and many arranged in dense, spherical heads. Each flower is white or pinkish-white, with a small.

Fruit is a small, dry pod containing up to 4 seeds.
