Plant Description

It is annual carnivorous terrestrial herb.

Stem is runner, up to 2.5 cm long, thread-like, branched.

Leaves are thread-like, up to 0.8 cm long, narrow, and blunt-tipped, with a single vein. Numerous kidney-shaped traps, about 0.1 cm across, are stalked and have two subulate appendages.

Flowers are yellow, arranged in erect racemes 2-7 cm long. Each raceme bears 1-5 solitary flowers. Flowers are 0.4-0.8 cm long, with stalks 0.2-0.4 cm long, broadly winged, erect when open, curved when fruiting. Sepals are two, nearly equal, broadly ovate, blunt-tipped, 0.2-0.4 cm long and wide. The upper lip is linear-oblong, rounded, 0.2-0.4 cm long and 0.1-0.2 cm wide. The lower lip is round to obovate, rounded, about 0.2-0.4 cm across. The spur is needle-like, about as long as the lower lip.

Fruit is capsule-like, are ovoid, slightly flattened, about 0.25 cm long and 0.2 cm wide. Seeds are ovoid with net-veined coats.
