Plant Description

It is erect flowering annual with a bushy growth form.

Stem is erect, single stem reaching 15-90 cm tall, depending on the variety.

Leaves are oval-shaped leaves with a rough texture. Arranged oppositely on the stem.

Flowers are large, daisy-like flower heads in a wide range of colors including white, cream, yellow, orange, pink, purple, red, and violet. Flowers can be single, semi-double, or double petaled.

Fruit is dry, single-seeded with a pappus (hair-like structure) for wind dispersal.
